Why in the hell do so many conservative leaders look like Emperor Palpatine? I mean, really!

These guys are supposed to be shedding that evil image and adopting a compassionate persona. Instead, they're washing away black people and digging up more Palpatine look alikes than at any Star Wars Convention.

For example we have soon to be Supreme Court Justice Harriet Miers.

Of course we have ol' "Give 'Em Hell" Zell

And who could forget our shiny new Pope?

I'm honestly waiting for George Bush to emerge from the Whitehouse Rose Garden wearing a Darth Vader mask any day now.
