I'd like to preface this post by saying that it is not an attack on Duke or Gonzaga. As much as I may hate those teams, they both played excellent basketball this season and should be commended.
I remember reading earlier this season that this was the first year since the late sixties or early seventies (memory's a bit fuzzy) that the top two NCAA basketball stars were white dudes. Now, perhaps I should point out that if white dudes are going to behave in this manner then we need to bring the non-white dudes back as quickly as possible.
Come ON you PANSIES! Have you ever seen such weepy-eyed wussie boys in your life? The truly annoying part of the whole thing is when you realize that these two asshats will go on to careers in the NBA, swimming pools filled with money and an appearance on MTV Cribs. Meanwhile countless other guys have walked off of the court with dignity, head held high, proud of what they have accomplished. Perhaps these two darlings should take a cue from some of those guys that you've never heard of and now, never will.

What's wrong with having some heart? This is exactly why I won't be watching these guys in the NBA. Because they'll never care about winning or about not losing as much as they cared right then.
With those two it just strikes me as more of a tantrum than genuine heart. Or maybe someone just plucked Morrison's mustache right before the picture was taken.
But you make a good point, I'll certainly say that.
Just curious: did Gansey and/or Pittsnoggle not cry after losing their final game at college?
As for Morrison or Redick or any other player who gets emotional at the end of their four years of college basketball, I tip my hat to them. They know they are leaving behind a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and that things will never be this special again. Yes, they'll be rich beyond their wildest dreams, but they'll never be in situations where anyone gives a damn about what they do.
And Brinton is excatly right: at least they have heart. Back in the day, I remember when UK stars like Kenny Walker cried in their last games at Rupp Arena. Do you think Antoine Walker did the same?
