Kanye West is awesome.

Ok, I know that I'm months behind the times here, but I honestly don't just listen to that much hip-hop these days. Anyway, today I picked up "The College Dropout" and "Late Registration" from the aforementioned Mr. West and I have to say that I'm impressed. I now see what all the buzz is about.

But, more than his music I'm impressed with him as a person. Anyone with the gall to attack the president on live television is (whether you agree or disagree with him) courageous. To release the single, "Jesus Walks" as his career was taking flight... ballsy. To rock the mic in a pink Izod sweater... downright amazing. The guy has managed to present an intelligent, anti-gangster image and plant it into the often misogynistic and violent world of hip-hop.

Anyway, not to gush, but I just thought I'd point out to everyone how impressed I am with this guy. Hell, even Nathan likes his new single. I repeat... NATHAN likes a booty jam.
