A Few More Signs of the Apocalypse.

Well, just when you thought that the Earthquakes, Hurricanes, and Tsunamis were the worst of our problems, neo-conservative madmen are finding a way to remind us that they can make things worse.

Recent Sign of the Endtimes #1

Newt Gingrich is running for president. That champion of family values that forced his wife to sign divorce papers while on her death bed with cancer wants to bring that same kind of compassion to the nation's highest office. Really folks, NEWT GINGRICH!? I hope that when he starts the whole, "uniting the country" rhetoric someone brings up his naming Rush Limbaugh an "honorary member of Congress" after the great conservative barnstorming of the mid 90's. To but it bluntly, Newt Gingrich is an ass.

Recent Sign of the Endtimes #2

A hospital patient in Canada... let me repeat that, IN CANADA, has been dragged from his gurney to the United States border and arrested. Surely he must have been a terrorist, right? Some sort of Chinese super spy? Nope, his charge was growing medicinal marijuana for his own use to treat chronic pain.

"I would not believe it unless I had seen it," Cowan said. "They sent people in to arrest him while he was on a gurney. They took him out of the hospital in handcuffs, put him in an SUV, and drove him to the border."

Recent Sign of the Endtimes #3

Tom Daschle is considering a run for president. Please Tom, PLEASE don't run for president. They didn't want you in your home state, you were a national joke, you were a weak leader and we DON'T WANT YOU. I swear to God, if the Democratic party runs Tom Daschle for president I will launch a full retreat from Democratic Politics forever.

Recent Sign of the Endtimes #4

Israel is handing over 35 acres of land to essentially build "Evangelical Land" on the Sea of Galilee. God knows that handing large chunks of the Middle East over to Christians has a spectacular track record. I guess the religious right has finally bought their way into heaven.
