VIVA FRANZIA!

Box wine is taking over the market! A recent AC-Neilsen poll has determined that the much maligned beverage conveyance is beginning to take a rather firm grip on the marketplace. What started as a novel idea has now blossomed into a major industry with 90% of sales coming from those switching at least partially from bottles.

Now, before the landslide of jokes, let's all be honest. It's not THAT bad. Surely at one point or another everyone has been slipped a glass of wine poured fresh from the box, and as far as I can tell none of us have dropped dead as a result. Besides, does that gigantic bottle of Carlo Rossi table wine somehow scream "class" because it's encased in glass? Personally, if given the choice, I'd much rather sit down to a refreshing Franzia than the ever-appealing "Boone's Farm" or "Arbor Mist."

So I say CELEBRATE! Bring on the era of box wine, and VIVA FRANZIA!!
